The launch of Jedi: Fallen Order is one of the most successful in the history of Star Wars games

The game broke two records:

Most likely, the game would not have been able to achieve such results without Steam. Recall that EA signed a contract with Valve before the release. According to its terms, EA has started selling its titles on Steam again.

The first EA release on the Valve platform was just Jedi: Fallen Order. On the part of Steam, he received a very aggressive and lengthy feature on the main page.

EA planned that sales of Jedi: Fallen Order would amount to 6 to 8 million copies for its current fiscal year (for comparison, sales of Star Wars Battlefront amounted to 13-14 million copies over the same period). Taking into account the latest news, the sales of the game are at least as expected.
