The Japanese company GungHo, which earned about $ 1 billion on Puzzle & Dragons, has recently become more active. Since the beginning of 2014, she has brought three projects to the market.
Two of them are neither original titles nor collectible card games, as one would expect from GungHo. In other words, the Japanese are not yet in a hurry to implement the “cook while it’s hot” strategy.
In April, the company launched the MMORPG Ragnarok Online on the Japanese mobile market (not to be confused with Ragnarok: War of Gods from Animoca XL), whose PC version it has hosted since 2002. The project now for some reason cannot be found in the stores, its data in the tops are also not indexed.
In May, the release of Summons Board, a tactical butler with original gameplay, took place. There is a 4×4 cell field. Four of them are occupied by your fighters, each of whom can move around the field, n is the number of alien cells – enemy monsters. The attack goes on adjacent cells. At the moment, the game is in the Top 100 box office projects in Japan.
The other day, in the last days of June, Picotto Kingdom was released, a ported version of the eponymous role-playing action with Vita. Being a free-to-play project, the game has not gained popularity on the Sony platform. Apparently, GungHo hopes that the mobile market will be more supportive of the project.
Picotto Kingdom is a slasher with very wide possibilities for customizing a game character (about 300 types of characters themselves, 600 types of weapons, a large skill tree).
Do you think it will shoot?
