The large-scale show The Game Awards 2020 took place this night. It traditionally celebrates the best games of the year. This year, the largest number of awards — six statuettes at once — went to The Last of Us Part II. Also, two received Among Us and Hades at once.

The event was hosted by Geoff Keighley, its founder and one of the organizers
Some of the winners were announced by movie stars and celebrities.

For example, the envelope with the name of the winner in the nomination for best actor was opened by Brie Larson, the name of the project with the best game direction was voiced by Keanu Reeves, and the game of the year was named by Christopher Nolan.
