On the morning of July 16, in the Kharkiv office of the international company Plarium, employees of the tax police of Ukraine began a search. The check is carried out under the article on tax evasion.
The search was first reported in the IT Sector Kharkiv Twitter feed. According to the public, in the office of the IT company, the tax and prosecutor’s office began a search in connection with possible illegal money trafficking.
As vgorode writes.ua, the searches in the office began in the morning, when most of the employees were still absent: “Those who were in the office were asked to go outside, the rest were asked not to go to work today.”
Representatives of Plarium told the publication AIN.UA that denies the charges. According to them, we are talking about a routine check: “Please do not follow the rumors, everything is fine.”
At the same time, the press secretary of the prosecutor of the Kharkiv region, Vita Dubovik, confirmed the fact of the search to the Status Quo publication: “The investigative actions were authorized by the Kiev District Court. A pre-trial investigation is being conducted under Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (tax evasion),” Dubovik clarified.
Plarium is known for its “Rules of War” and Stormfall games. In the spring of this year, Plarium opened a new computer class at the Kharkiv Aviation Institute.
