Preliminary applications for The GameDev Buisness Hanbook — a tutorial on the development and promotion of video games with the advice of game designers from Paradox Entertainment, Ninja Theory, Devolver Digital, John Romero’s wife – Brenda Romero, and others are open.

The author of The GameDev Buisness Hanbook, Michael Futter, warns that there are no formulas in the book “how to become rich and successful.”

Instead, the manual uses examples from the practice of existing game studios to examine the cases that make up the life of an indie developer.

For example, what to do in case of constant delays in the release of the game, or how to arrange a collaboration with another team to work together on the title.

The book will tell you how to calculate and collect the first budget of the project, how to competently select colleagues for work, what you should know about intellectual property and what early access can give.

The GameDev Buisness Hanbook is offered in two versions: $20 for a digital version and $40 for a hardcover paper book.
