Several indie game developers have teamed up to release the Game Bundle under the Thumb Arcade wing – a collection of 10 games for iOS.

The offer looks extremely profitable. Users would have to spend $23.90 if they bought the same games separately. At the same time, the collection itself costs $ 5.00, that is, the price for each game is only 50 cents.

More impressive, however, is that the installation is carried out entirely through iTunes after sending the codes to the players by email.

The mechanisms of the App Store’s functioning made many doubt the unviability of the idea of creating such a collection. Thumb Arcade has not yet announced details of how it will promote its Game Bundle.

At first it seems that the Game Bundle has a lot in common with the Humble Bundle for Android, which focuses on charity, but the ultimate goals of these collections are very different.

Humble Bundle allows users to independently assign a cost and distribute a donation between charities, developers and the Humble Bundle movement itself. In turn, the collection from Thumb Arcade tries to solve the sad question of the findability of titles on the App Store. This was openly announced by Andy Rosic, founder of Selfpubd, the founding company of Thumb Arcade.

However, the creators of the Game Bundle have not forgotten about morality, buyers are given the opportunity to support the charity organization One Day’s Wages.

The collection from Thumb Arcade includes the following games: Sentinel 3: Homeworld, Forever Lost: Episode 1, Circulets, Angry Robot: Wall Street Titan, Kill the Clowns, Dragon Siege, War of Words, Fruits’n Tails, IncrediBlox and Chicks Ahead. You can purchase the Game Bundle until October 31, or until sales reach the maximum level.

Additional information can be found on the collection’s website.
