The launch was announced by the company’s CEO Gabe Leydon at the VentureBeat Mobile Summit in California.
“RTplatform is a multi-user platform for distributed data processing. We will create applications with a many-to-many relationship. This infrastructure will allow processing very large volumes in real time,” Leydon shared.
According to the CEO of the company, a similar solution is already being used in Game of War. With the help of technology, more than a million players are placed in one virtual space at the same time, and all their messages and interactions are quickly processed.
RTplatform will become more effective solutions in Game of War. “Our new platform is 100,000 times more powerful,” says Leydon.
The target audience of the solution will be companies that need to process large amounts of information from distributed data sources, from financial services to creators of multiplayer games.
A separate department will be allocated for the development of RTplatform.
Details about the platform and the first clients of the solution will appear “in the coming weeks.”
Let’s add that Leydon reported that Machine Zone is being renamed. From now on, the company is called MZ.
