The Finnish studio Kopla Games, which developed a mix of an idler and a Nonstop Knight role-playing game, was acquired by the German company flaregames.

The latter just acted as the publisher of the Nonstop Knight game, which was released worldwide at the beginning of this summer (we have already written in detail about the mechanics of the game).

The launch of this game, according to representatives of flaregames, was the most successful in the history of the German company. In the first three days, the game was downloaded more than two million times. To date, the number of downloads of the game has already crossed the 4 million mark.

The success of Nonstop Knight was the reason for the acquisition. The Germans were also very impressed with how the Finns improved the project’s performance. The 30-day retention difference for the global version of the game turned out to be 75% higher than the game had at the time of the soft launch. The CTR and LTV of the project have risen by 130% at all.

How much Kopla Games was evaluated is not reported. The daily estimated revenue of the game from advertising can reach $ 10 thousand.

Despite the fact that the Finnish studio is now fully owned by flaregames, it will continue to function independently under the terms of the deal and will remain in Tampere.

Kopla Games is not the first purchase of flaregames. In 2013, the German company acquired another developer whose game it published – Keen Flare, the authors of the Royal Revolt series.
