The creators of the hit casual franchise Candy Crush in King Studio are developing a mobile game based on the Call of Duty shooter series. This became known from a vacancy on the King website.
The job offer states that King’s Stockholm office is looking for a level designer for a mobile adaptation of Call of Duty, which is being developed with the participation of Activision Blizzard.
The applicant must be able to create levels for shooters and work with various level editors.
In addition to the level designer, King is also recruiting a senior network software developer and a senior game engine specialist to the new project team.
Activision has already released several mobile games for the Call of Duty franchise. The latest of them was the Call of Duty: Heroes strategy, which was released on iOS and Android in 2014.
