A selection of paid games without micropayments has appeared in the American App Store.

In iTunes, it’s called: “Buy once and play.” The selection itself, which includes a solid number of applications, is divided into three categories: recent releases, blockbusters and “originals”.

It is difficult to say with what specific event such an initiative is connected. In any case, there is no doubt that Apple understands the difficult situation around paid games, whose downloads and financial indicators are noticeably inferior to those distributed under the shareware model.
