This was stated by the Head of Facebook’s partnership division, Julien Codorgnu, to The Wall Street Journal.

According to Vedomosti, Julien told the Western edition the following: “A year ago, the Russian Game Insight did not work with Facebook, and now, thanks to us, their turnover has grown and is estimated at eight figures. Social Quantum has taken fifth place in sales in Japan, the USA and France thanks to Facebook, and we are very pleased with this.” 

A Facebook representative also said that one of the company’s priorities in Russia today is the competition for market share with Vkontakte.
