According to 505 Games, the two-dimensional sandbox platformer Terraria, which was released on PC in 2011, will be available for mobile devices this summer.
The mobile version of the game will include lists of the best players, achievements, as well as integration with Facebook.
The Dutch indie team Codeglue is responsible for the development of the mobile version of the game, also responsible for the creation of the mobile version of Rocket Riot.
505 Games has already released Terraria on PSN and XBLA in March, however, Engine Software specialists were responsible for the development of these versions.
The original game, created by Re-Logic studio, was based on the concept of Minecraft. The player explored a randomly generated world in which it was possible to extract resources, craft various items, build almost any structures, defending against hostile fauna. The project was a great success with the press and players – 83 out of 100 points on metacritic.com .
