Chinese giant Tencent has announced the global launch of the distribution platform WeGame X. Previously, there was only a Chinese version of the store called WeGame.
So far, only 17 games are available in WeGame X. All of them are from Chinese studios, including Tencent itself. It is expected that in addition to Chinese games (Chines Parents, My Time At Portia, etc.), titles from Hello Games, Larian and Deep Silver will be placed in the store. They are listed on the main page of the store, writes PC Gamer.
WeGame X is in early access and is available in Chinese and English. However, some of the games in it are available only in Chinese. In addition, there are no marks on the pages with games, which languages they support.
The store contains a number of functions: user reviews, tags, offline game mode. It also supports cloud saving. The store’s game client is available for download on the official website.
