Tencent will present a competitor for Microsoft, Google and Amazon streaming services at GDC 2019. This is reported by Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad.
According to him, the service will be called Tencent Instant Play. This is a cloud gaming platform that will allow you to run games from remote servers on a wide range of devices. Tencent Instant Play will be available on both PC and Android devices.
According to Ahmad, Intel had a hand in the service. Tencent’s streaming solution is based on the latest cloud technology of this company. The Chinese media giant will hold a session at GDC 2019 together with Intel.
The analyst also mentioned that the Tencent platform will allow you to launch games such as Monster Hunter: World in 1080p resolution and at 60 FPS.
