The story of Telltale Games is coming to an end. The studio assigns its assets. The consulting firm Sherwood Partners is engaged in its liquidation.

This is reported by the publication GameDaily.biz . It also explains that for Telltale Games assignment (assignment proceedings) has become an alternative way to close the company. Thus, she transferred all her assets to a new owner (Telltale Incorporated transfers all to Telltale, LLC), whose only task may be to resell them further.

In connection with the latter, Sherwood Partners is currently contacting everyone who claims assets or has claims against the company. The firm asks to provide legal appeals by April next year.

At the same time, the question remains open as to whether the new owner will act as a defendant in the case concerning the class action of former Telltale employees.

Recall that one of the US federal laws requires employees to be warned about mass layoffs 60 days in advance if the company has more than 100 employees. This has not been done.

Moreover, in November of this year, all former employees of the company are deprived of health insurance, which is critical in the United States, where it is mandatory and at the same time expensive.

Simultaneously with the news of the liquidation of Telltale Games, it became known that some of its games disappeared from Steam. In particular, Back to the Future and Tales of Monkey Island are no longer in her profile.
