The authors of Clash of Clans and Boom Beach have finally decided to move towards game merchandising. A few days ago, a vacancy for a licensing and merchandising manager appeared on the company’s website.

Supercell собралась выпускать мерчендайз по своим играм

Supercell is not one of those companies that do things quickly (going to the cash tops does not count). Despite the huge commercial success of mobile games, the team has released only one title over the past two years. Moreover, unlike its neighbors from Rovio, it still does not seek to go beyond the mobile gaming business, preferring to remain a relatively small (as much as possible, of course, given the multimillion-dollar army of fans) development company.

But this is not enough for fans of games. At least, such a conclusion can be made after reading the text of the vacancy, according to which players who love Supercell characters and universes want to see them not only within the framework of games. Based on this desire, the Finnish company plans to create a line of products created specifically for fans.

For the development and launch of merchandising, the company is just looking for “super talented” and “a little crazy” employees with at least five years of experience in the field.

More details – here.

We, in turn, note that it was high time to take such a step.
