A new game studio, Storms Studio, founded by the startup of the same name, has appeared in Singapore. She will deal with instant and hypercausal titles. To do this, the company has already concluded a strategic cooperation with Voodoo.AZ Run
According to Storms, the partnership with the French hyper-casual publisher will allow the company to scale its business, enter new markets and adopt expertise in attracting users.
Voodoo has already acted as a publisher of the debut game of Storms Studio — the hyper-casual runner AZ Run. In the first month after the release, the title collected over 3 million installations.
Storms also operates its own platform for instant games, which is used by 3 million people every month. The company owns exclusive rights to “instant” versions of such mobile hits as Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride. Their total downloads exceed 1.8 billion.
According to Storms, today it is the only gaming startup in the Asia-Pacific region with access to 700 million mobile audience. This was achieved thanks to investments from telecommunications companies Singtel Group and SK Telecom.
