Already this week, hundreds of Blizzard Entertainment employees will present an appeal to the studio’s management in order to improve working conditions, Bloomberg reports, citing people involved in the initiative.Among the main requirements: change the system of promotions, increase vacations and raise salaries for support staff and testers.
To organize and coordinate actions, employees use a channel in Slack, which consists of more than 870 people.
Blizzard management announced its readiness to consider the appeal, as well as to improve the level of compensation for employees. “We understand that some Blizzard employees have certain requirements, and we look forward to their direct appeal,” said company representative Dustin Blackwell.
