Sergey Babaev, Managing Partner, announced his new position DTF.ru and former vice president of strategy at Nekki. He took the place of vice-president of the Cyprus team Cubic Games.

The main project of the latter, according to the official website of the company, is a mobile shooter Pixel Gun 3D. It was previously known that Rilisoft from Rostov-on-Don was engaged in its development. According to App Annie, in the first quarter of 2016, Rilisoft was among the Top 5 most profitable mobile game developers in the CIS and the Baltic States.

“After leaving the last place, I rested less than I had planned.

It turns out that the interest of the rest is greatly exaggerated: I was quickly drawn to the center of the movement,” commented on his appointment App2Top.ru Sergey. – “We started cooperation with the guys from Cubic Games some time ago and now we have officially announced it. In my opinion, it’s too early to talk about what has been done or incredible plans. I like to share something accomplished.”

Babayev’s main attention, according to him, will be focused on the leading title of Cubic Games and the development of the company.

“In the work, 90% of the attention, of course, will be paid to the flagship of the company – the Pixel Gun 3D project, which does not need any introduction, at least for an audience interested in the mobile market.”

“There are a lot of tasks that require attention – from grocery, to the extremely interesting task of building a marketing department. The project itself is very viral (it just so happens that I’ve been mostly working with them lately), but now we want to put it on a confident marketing track. By the way, for these purposes I continue to look for a marketing team in sunny Limassol.”

“The remaining 10% of attention will not be wasted either, soon spoilers, announcements and everything as we like. Stay Tuned, as they say, will be cool.”

Recall that in April of this year Babayev announced his retirement from Nekki, the developer and publisher of the Shadow Fight series, where he worked for three years. Prior to that, Sergey held the post of creative director at GD-Team, the developer of games such as Technomagia and Metal War Online.
