Mike Verdu, Senior Vice President of Electronic Arts mobile publishing house, announced his departure from the company. According to Verdoux, the reason for his resignation was constant business trips and an unstable work schedule. He will leave his post at the beginning of May this year.
Mike Verdoux joined EA Mobile in February last year, but his history of collaboration with Electronic Arts began much earlier.
Verdoux joined the team of the company’s Los Angeles office in 2002 to work on the strategic franchises Command& Conquer and The Lord of the Rings as a senior producer. In 5 years he worked his way up to the general manager of the studio.
In 2009, Verdu moved to the mobile company Zynga. He participated in the launch of titles such as Empires & Allies, FrontierVille and CastleVille.
After leaving Zynga in 2015, he led Kabam for two years as president and Chief Creative Officer.
Mike Verde is 53 years old, 33 of which he gave to the gaming industry.
