100 million users play Roblox every month. Perhaps now this children’s social MMO is more popular than Minecraft.
In the official Roblox blog, the current MAU indicator is compared with the population of Tokyo, Delhi and Shanghai combined. But the game has an exit in the Chinese market ahead (the exact date is unknown), after which the total MAU Roblox in all available regions may grow even stronger.
In comparison with another hit among the “sandboxes” — Minecraft — Roblox may be ahead, writes PCGamesN. In March, Minecraft’s monthly active audience reached 91 million. At the same time, it was reported that over the past year, this figure for the game increased by 17 million people.
Roblox is a children’s online platform for creating game content. One of the most popular games in it is Jailbreak — the so-called “GTA Online on minimalki”. In it, some players escape from prison and cause riots, while others act as police.
