Year for the company

For me and for the company, this year, as always, is not like the rest: shock growth, moving to a new office, doubling the number of employees of the company, opening a European office in Berlin, personal acquaintance with representatives of the largest gaming companies and understanding that the problems that are bothering are not unique.

Of course, I remember the first deal in my life, which at times reminded me of the events from the TV series Suits and Silicon Valley.

Event of the year in the world

Events in the world took place somewhat in parallel and sometimes became, as it seems, unexpected only for you alone. From the tracked — China’s mobile market has overtaken the United States in earnings, the VR market has overgrown with developers and projects, although so far it is not talking about large profits. The share of market revenue has significantly increased due to the advertising built into the game.

And Marvel has also “discovered” a super-powerful character — Doctor Strange. I think this appearance is comparable to the appearance of Iron Man.

The trend of the year for me was the trend towards openness of companies and the desire of their representatives to make new acquaintances. I remember those times when the entire internal kitchen of the company was hidden, and now, on the contrary, the opposite trend has emerged.

Game of the Year

The game of the Year is definitely Pokémon Go. It was able to affect a large number of people who have nothing to do with the gaming industry and this is an interesting trend.
