Event of the Year
Last year was rich in important events. Personally , I remember four:
1. The release of new “apple” devices: Apple Watch and the fourth generation Apple TV, which has turned from an iTunes player into a full-fledged gaming platform.
2. The purchase of King by Activision Blizzard for $5.9 billion. The deal demonstrates the continuation of the stage of mergers and acquisitions in the market.
3. Release of the new Windows 10 operating system. How it will go on mobile devices is unclear. I hope the story with Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 will not repeat itself.
4. Exit Fallout 4. Not every year there are titles whose fans are able to bring the satellite game to the mobile box office top.

Active search for a new “blue ocean” by iron producers.
After the iPad, many new devices emerged, creating new markets. The problem is that none of them were in high demand. This does not stop companies from experimenting. This year, the big players were especially active. Apple has released a large tablet, a watch, a set-top box, Microsoft has shown its version of VR, Samsung has retailed virtual reality glasses for smartphones.
Achievement of the Year
The success of Chinese developers in the Western market. First of all, I’m talking about Clash of Kings from ELEX Wireless.
Clash of Kings was released a couple of months before 2015, but the box office success of the game came in March of this year. The game was in the box office Top 5 only on iOS in 116 countries. In a number of them – including the Russian one – it still shows excellent performance, overtaking Supercell and King.
In Russia, the Chinese mobile expansion is especially felt. Of the ten top-grossing Android games in November, four were produced in China.
Clash of KingsDisappointment of the Year
Apple. It cannot be said that her novelties definitely disappointed. I just had higher expectations. Perhaps the fact is that neither Apple Watch nor Apple TV showed high sales results (more precisely, Apple did not brag about them, which, in principle, is equivalent).
Game of the Year
It is difficult to choose any one title. There were no breakthrough games on mobile this year. Therefore, I will leave this question unanswered.
But, as I said a little above, the most important release of the year for me was Fallout 4.
Year for the company
2015 was a successful year for Nevosoft.
We have worked a lot on internal processes in the company, as well as on projects that will enter the market in the new year.
We have launched the international version of the Planet of Gems. The total DAU of the project for three platforms (iOS, Google Play and Windows Phone) exceeded the mark of 1 million.

We also held not two, but three White Nights conferences this year (www.wnconf.com ).
Moreover, with the third event, we entered a new platform for ourselves – Moscow, I must say, successfully.
This is the first time we will hold a conference outside of Russia in the new year. The tenth anniversary White Nights will be held in Helsinki, the capital of Finland.
