Swedish indie studio MAG Interactive has acquired a local developer FEO Media, specializing in educational and social games.

The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

MAG Interactive is known as the creator of the word puzzle Ruzzle and other games in this genre.

According to Daniel Hasselberg, CEO of FEO Media, the total monthly audience of FEO and MAG games is 10 million people, and the amount of downloads of titles from both studios exceeds 200 million.

FEO Media was the third acquisition for MAG Interactive. In 2014, the company bought the developer WordBrain, and in 2015 — the British studio Delinquent Interactive.
