Finnish studio Fingersoft has opened a data-oriented publishing label for mobile games Round Zero.

Round Zero offers developers to test titles for free and analyze their effectiveness according to game metrics.

To do this, the publisher will provide developers with traffic ranging from several hundred to several thousand downloads throughout the week.

If the KPIs of the project are sufficient, Round Zero will offer the developer a contract to conduct a softlonch and a global launch.

More information about the work of Round Zero can be found on the publisher’s website.

According to representatives of the publishing house, the video game market has become too vast and diverse to choose titles for publication based solely on personal experience and tastes of publishers.

“Based on such an approach, we would certainly refuse to publish the Flappy Bird developer. Fingersoft has sufficient experience in publishing games, for 5 years we have published 12 titles. We believe in data analysis,” said Daniel Rantala, CEO of Round Zero and vice president of the publishing division of Fingersoft.

The first published Round Zero game was the mobile tank action Hills of Steel studio Superplus Games.
