The developer and publisher of the Scapes puzzle series has transferred all its employees working from Ukraine to paid leave. The company also announced the opening of a round-the-clock line and readiness to help with the organization of the move.
Manor Matters
This became known from the official comment of Playrix:
“The top priority of Playrix right now is the safety and support of all employees of the group of companies and their families in Ukraine. Since February 24, our colleagues have been on paid leave. We have created round-the-clock support lines to provide the team with any necessary individual assistance: financial support, legal advice, relocation arrangements and much more.”
In Ukraine, Playrix now employs more than 1,500 employees (in this regard, it is the leader, Ubisoft is in second place in terms of the number of Ukrainian staff with 1,200 people). Including in its internal studios Voki Games and Boolat Play.
As part of the comment, Playrix stated that it continues to monitor events in the country and plans to supplement employee support measures in accordance with the circumstances.
Playrix is not the first international company with a staff in Ukraine to declare support for its local staff. Earlier, a similar initiative was taken by the mobile publishing house G5 Entertainment (it employs more than 300 people in Ukraine), which declared its readiness to protect Ukrainian employees and provide them with the necessary assistance.
On the night of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a “special military operation” in Ukraine. Now there are fights all over the country.
