The creator of the St. Petersburg office of Nival, Peter Prokhorenko, now works at Alternativa Games (formerly AlternativaPlatform). He became the product director of a company known for the MMO action movie “Tanks Online”.
Peter announced his new job on his Facebook page yesterday, February 26. Information about the appointment was confirmed in Alternativa Games.
“We are very pleased that Peter has joined the Alternativa Games team. He is a talented and hardworking professional who has already established himself from the very first days as a person with a wonderful creative streak,” he said in an interview with App2Top.ru Maxim Fomichev, the company’s publishing director.
The main task of Prokhorenko in the new place will be the development of the mobile direction of Alternativa Games, which the company took up, according to Fomichev, literally this year.
Prokhorenko has been in development since 2003. Prior to that, he was engaged in gaming journalism for five years. In 2010, he created the St. Petersburg office of Nival. He mainly worked on strategic projects. His portfolio includes games such as Stalingrad, Aggression, Blitzkrieg 2 and Blitzkrieg 3.
After leaving Nival in 2013, he headed ONI Studio. Her latest project – mobile strategy for hardcore audience Navy Power: Warships is in sotflonche. Judging by the comments on Facebook, in the future Prokhorenko is going to hold a “soft launch” of the game for the second time.
