Russian Russian company GSO Event announced a Russian party before MWC 2014 due to the massive influx of Russian guests to the mobile congress this spring (more than 100 domestic companies took part in MWC 2013).
The next Mobile World Congress will be held on February 24-27, 2014, as always in Barcelona. The main theme of the event has already been announced: “creating the future” (creating what’s next). Of course, we will talk about what mobile devices and technologies will become in the next year or two.
Participants will be able to attend the exhibition, seminars and lectures, get advice on a number of technical issues, as well as catch the hand of leading vendors.
Tickets, however, bite. The minimum price is 749 euros. For the “platinum” you will have to pay 4999 euros.
However, this spring, high prices did not frighten anyone. MWC was visited by representatives of 1700 companies. Of these, more than 100 were in Russia.
Having witnessed such an influx (and also against the background of the rapid growth of the mobile market and the mobile content market), GSO Event (aka “JSO Event”), representing Mobile World Congress in Russia, decided to hold a party for the Russian guests of MWC 2014 the day before the opening of the event.
In order to become a participant, it is enough to enter MWCMOU13 when registering for participation in MWC 2014.
How much such a party is needed by Russian participants (foreigners, apparently, will not be allowed) is a big question, since it is always possible to cross paths with compatriots at home. Anyway, the initiative is curious. Who will go — then write back what was there.
