Developers of social games have received new advertising tools in the Odnoklassniki social network. Now they can buy large banners with videos on the game showcase.

As representatives of the network note: “The video banner is the first thing the user sees when entering the showcase of games.”

Previously, the place in the selection was determined solely by the editorial board of the section.

However, the feature will not turn into an exclusively advertising tool. According to the head of the gaming platform Egor Danilov, the banner gallery will also include those games that “show good indicators for retaining paying users.”

Any developer can get a new advertising space. He will pay for clicks through myTarget. Already, Odnoklassniki recommends showing ads in this position from 3 to 5 times a week to one user. Which one — you can specify through targeting.

When asked about the cost of placement, representatives of the network answered as follows: “The price is determined by the general auction of myTarget, but only game projects participate in it.” They position the latter as a plus, because, according to them, it has significantly reduced the cost of a click.

Odnoklassniki did not tell what the average conversion rate of a large banner is. They argued that “the final conversion to players depends on creativity, gameplay and many other factors.”
