A game about zombie birds (more precisely, about Frankenstein birds) from the Finnish company Small Giant Games with the help of Apple promotion managed to collect 1 million downloads in less than a week.
The game was featured in the “Best New Games” (in the first position) in 133 regions, in 29 countries the project received the main banner, in 97 more a small banner (in the second row).
Recall that for about the same period, the same million downloads a week ago were collected by another game – midcore strategy Rival Kingdoms. It was promoted using the main banner in 140 countries.
Even then, we assumed that aggressive global promotion in the App Store just gives a million. Now we can talk about it with more confidence.
