The team of the Lithuanian developer and publisher Nordcurrent is replenished. The company, famous for such box office hits as Cooking Fever and Sniper Arena, acquired the Odessa outsourcer Blam! Games Studios.

Founded in 2009, the startup joins the team as the third internal office. As a result of the transaction, he receives a new name — Nordcurrent Odessa.

This is the third office of the Lithuanian company. In addition to its headquarters in Vilnius, Nordcurrent also has a studio in Warsaw, the capital of Poland.

The amount and terms of the transaction were not disclosed. At the same time, representatives of Nordcurrent say that the Odessa branch “expects expansion and growth” in the near future.

We plan to expand the Odessa studio, gathering the best professionals from all regions of Ukraine under its flags. We firmly believe that the growth of the studio will allow us to create even more high-quality and well-known games for the world market together.

By the way, before the Blam deal! Games Studios has been a partner of Nordcurrent since 2014. What kind of games the companies made together is not reported, but we are talking about at least “several games for PC and mobile devices.”

Thanks to the joining of the Odessa studio, the number of Nordcurrent employees has reached 170 people.
