Swedish MAG Interactive raised $6 million in the first round of financing. The largest amount was invested by Nokia’s venture fund.

MAG is known for the Ruzzle project, which has been downloaded more than 45 million times over the past 18 months. Ruzzle is the first game of the studio, previously engaged in the development of custom mobile applications.

According to the developers, they do not need venture capital – the company is profitable. The entire amount raised will go to the parent company. Developers will not receive money.

Currently, MAG employs 22 people. The studio plans to expand and make free-to-play games. Recall that Ruzzle is distributed as a paid application.
