The new Nintendo console has a great year in the States. According to its results, it will overtake the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the number of copies sold. This forecast was made by Mat Piscatella, an analyst at NPD.
The main sales of the console will fall on the Christmas season, when three major new items will be released for it at once. It’s about Let’s Go, Pikachu!, Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
In general, sales of all consoles are going well now. Matt is sure that each of the three big consoles will be able to sell from 4 million copies in the States in a year. Taking into account previous generations and portable consoles, total sales will exceed 17.5 million.
