Naughty Dog celebrates the 10th anniversary of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. In honor of this, Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad appreciated how the popularity of the studio’s games has grown over this decade.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
On Twitter, Ahmad compared the sales of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
- Uncharted 2 has sold 6 million copies on PS3 alone in six years. In 2015, she appeared on PS4 in the collection Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection; Ahmad did not name her sales after the release of the collection.
- The sold circulation of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (released in 2016) has already amounted to 10 million copies in 2.5 years. To date, it has reached 16 million on PS4, according to Ahmad.
The Last of Us
The analyst also mentioned another Naughty Dog hit — The Last of Us.
Its sales to date have exceeded 20 million copies. In the first year, it sold 7 million copies on PS3; then its remaster for PS4 was released.
