The research company Newzoo has published an infographic with 10 key facts about the Zelda series of games.
1). Zelda has entered the top game franchises that are played the most. She is on the 36th place in popularity among all players and on the 28th place among female gamers.
2). 64% of Zelda players are men. The largest group of gamers in Zelda is a man from 21 to 35.
3). 32% of Zelda players have been playing franchise games for more than a year.
4). 18% play Zelda on emulators or old consoles.
5). 33% play Zelda on Wii U.
6). The Zelda franchise is rated by 80% of its players at least 8 out of 10 points.
7). Zelda-players most likely also play titles such as Super Mario Bros., Pokémon GO and Mario Kart.
8). The most popular version of the franchise game is The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
9). 75% of Zelda players believe that the series is improving from game to game.
10). For most players, the main advantage of the series is its sincerity and the ability to explore and wander the world arbitrarily.
