The Ukrainian social casino operator Murka has tripled its revenues for the first quarter of 2017 compared to the same quarter last year.
In addition, Murka won two nominations of the American EGR North America Awards 2017, awarded to the best companies providing virtual casino services.
Murka was recognized as the best in the nominations “operator of social casino” and “operator of social slot games”.
Murka titles have become popular due to a combination of traditional casino games and travel mechanics, where the player moves from test to test on the map.
The company appeared in 2011 in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro. In 6 years, the staff of Murka has grown from 10 to 300 people.
Today Murka is one of the 15 largest publishers in the social casino market.
Anton Krasny, the co-founder and head of Murka, noted that the company has never attracted third-party investments, expanding only at the expense of its own income.
In November 2016, the studio held a softlonch of Scatter Holdem Poker, a social online poker in a fantasy design for iOS platforms.
