Microsoft Corporation is now asking for $19 instead of $99 for the right to develop applications for Windows Phone. However, this offer will be temporary – only until August 27.
In fact, we are shocked that Microsoft has to pay money for this. Given the small number of applications in the Windows Phone Store, it would be logical to make registration free. In any case, even if you register now for $19, in a year you will be charged the usual $99 (and in a year the same amount and so on until you release apps for the Microsoft mobile app store).
By the way, the iOS developer pays the same $99 on an annual basis. But, for comparison, to get permission to develop applications for Google Play, it is enough to pay $ 25 at a time.
P.S. Here is a useful link for those who are just starting to be interested in creating applications for the Windows Phone Store.
