The developer and publisher of the Syberia series has officially launched a new brand. Under the name Microïds Indie, the French company plans to launch projects of independent studios on the market.

Microïds is ready to publish games with “original mechanics and plots”. She will not limit herself to the traditional genre of adventure games for herself. According to a press release, the company is diversifying its catalog.

Developers will be offered assistance in publishing, working with the community, sales and marketing.

The Descendant
16 titles have already been published on Steam under the new label.

Most of them came out more than a year ago. The most successful is The Descendant, whose audience on Steam is more than 360 thousand people.

The audience of the main blockbuster Microïds – Syberia 3 – on Steam is very small for games under a loud license: 60 thousand people. The audience of the first part of the trilogy only on the Valve platform is more than 500 thousand.
