Former BioWare employee Casey Hudson will return to the company and head the main office in Edmonton after the resignation of his colleague Aaron Flynn (Aaron Flinn).

Aaron Flynn did not expand on the reasons for his departure, saying only that he was calmly transferring the studio to his friend and colleague Hudson.

Casey Hudson left BioWare in 2014 and worked for some time at Microsoft on mixed reality projects for the HoloLens headset.

He called his decision a “homecoming.” According to Hudson, he can’t wait to start working on new games, using all the possibilities of modern technology.

Casey Hudson led the development of the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and the Mass Effect trilogy, and also participated in the creation of other BioWare projects.
