There are still very few details about the Tizen platform. What will it look like, what kind of store will it have, how many applications will it have at launch? One thing is for sure: there will definitely be games on Tizen.
The other day, Marmalade announced that it is launching full-fledged support for the system actively promoted by Samsung. According to the press release, owners of Indie, Plus and Professional licenses will be able to port their games to Tizen after updating the Marmalade SDK to version 6.4.
Our sources say that support will seriously simplify and speed up the porting process. Maybe once every two months: from four to five months to two or three.
By the way, Unity announced support for Tizen in May of this year.
