August turned out to be rich in permutations in the domestic game development. Following the changes in Pixonic and VK, it became known about the changes in the Azur Games studio. The latter is among the top ten highest-grossing mobile gaming companies in Russia.
On August 30, Azur Games Marketing Director Zakhar Serebryannikov announced on his Facebook page that he was leaving the company after two and a half years of work. Zakhar does not share the reasons for his dismissal. He only says that he remains in game development.
According to Zakhar, he helped build the current marketing department at Azur Games. The latter took part in the promotion of more than 50 products, including the hyper-casual Stack Ball. This game has been in the top 10 most downloaded mobile games by total downloads in the world since April.
In the comments for App2Top.ru the studio confirmed the employee’s departure. She also noted that she “wishes him success in his new endeavors and shares his desire to move on for new experience and expertise.”
As noted in the introduction, this is not the first notable dismissal in the Russian game development in August. Earlier it became known that Pixonic is losing two C-managers, and last Friday the head of the gaming platform announced his departure from VKontakte.
