One of the world’s largest messengers has announced plans to enter the stock market relatively soon.
As Serkan Toto reports with reference to the Japanese daily The Nikkei, the developer company LINE plans to enter the Tokyo stock exchange in the summer of 2014.
The company estimates itself at $8-10 billion (before that, there were rumors about a more astronomical sum of $28 billion).
Its revenue for the second quarter of 2013 amounted to $132 million, $ 10 million of which was brought by the sale of stickers, a little more – $27 million – gaming applications.
