The Internet company Line Corporation has opened a publishing division for mobile games Line Games based on the South Korean studio NextFloor, 51% of which shares Line Corp. I bought it the day before.
The publishing house will promote a line of midcore titles in Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Taiwan.
Line Corporation CEO Takeshi Idezawa noted that Line Games will not be limited to the Asian region and will enter the international market.
The head of NextFloor has been appointed head of Line Games. Kyu Kim (Min Kyu Kim). The division will be located in the same room previously occupied by NextFloor.
NextFloor studio has been working on mobile games Destiny Child and Dragon Flight, with the latter title gaining 24 million downloads at the beginning of 2017.
