Creative director and screenwriter of Naughty Dog studio Neil Druckmann (Neil Druckmann) has been appointed its vice president. The company explained the appointment as recognition of Drakmann’s services to the company.

This was announced by the president of Naughty Dog Evan Wells (Evan Wells).

“Drakmann has been an important part of the management team for some time, and we are proud to recognize his merits. In addition to the new powers, Neil will continue to work on The Last of Us Part II as creative director,” said the head of the studio.

Neil Drakmann joined Naughty Dog in 2004 and started as a programmer for the Jak and Dexter series of games. Subsequently, Drakman worked on the design and script of the first two parts of Uncharted.

He also developed the concept and acted as the creative director of The Last of Us project, which became a great success of Naughty Dog Studio.

The game received 11 awards in various categories, and Drakmann himself was awarded the Guild of American Screenwriters Award for Best game script for his work on it.

The continuation of the action adventure The Last of Us was announced in December last year. The release date of the game is still unknown.
