Alexander Bogdanov, who led the St. Petersburg studio Game Insight and Nord Quantum, became the CEO of Minsk-based Belka Games, the developer of the Watchmaker.
Alexander has been in his new post since November last year. But officially it became known only yesterday, after Bogdanov’s publication on his Facebook page.
According to Yuri Krasilnikov, Business Development Director of Belka Games, Alexander is responsible for the implementation of the company’s new strategy – Belka 2.0.
“The company is actively expanding, preparing for the launch of new projects, building processes. So, for example, we are being rebuilt to focus on great long-term results, and here we need to create opportunities for developing better products. This symbiosis should give the overall growth of the company’s expertise and bring it to a fundamentally new level,” Yuri notes.
“Watchmaker” – the main blockbuster of the company
The choice for the position of Alexander in the company is explained, among other things, by his extensive experience in the industry.
“Bogdanov is an experienced leader. During his career, he has built more than one team from scratch. Behind him: Nord Quantum (the St. Petersburg division of SQ), cooperation with Playrix, the management of one of the studios in Game Insight,” adds Krasilnikov.
