Cliff Bleszinski disbanded Boss Key Productions studio and took time out in video game development after none of his personal projects were successful. The game designer announced this on his Twitter.

According to Blesinski, he wants to think about the reasons for the failure and spend some time with his family.

In his statement, he thanked his colleagues and admitted that despite all their efforts, Boss Key games were on the market too late.

For 4 years of work, Blesinski’s company has released two online action films: the heroic shooter LawBreakers and the “battle royale” Radical Heights. Both games did not find enough popularity and lost to the current leaders of the genre.

LawBreakers lost to Overwatch, and Radical Heights was not in demand amid the popularity of PUBG and Fortnite.

Despite the closure of the studio, Blesinski promised not to turn off the servers of Radical Heights for another year.

Cliff Blesinski is known for participating in the Unreal Tournament and Gears of War projects as part of Epic Games, where he worked from 1992 to 2012.
