Previously, King had already advertised his hit on American channels. Now the mobile giant is conquering Japanese television.

King intends to increase the number of Candy Crush Saga users in Japan and has chosen a proven tool for this. Colopl has added a million Quiz RPG users in a week thanks to a successful TV advertisement in Japan. The rapid growth of Puzzle&Dragons fans from GungHo was also caused by TV commercials.

King became the first foreign company promoting mobile games on Japanese TV. The video starred actress Mikako Tabe, known to viewers of the Land of the Rising Sun for theatrical productions based on the series “Sailor Moon”.

As for the results, Candy Crush Saga is the leader of free iPhone apps in the Japanese market, but at the same time, the game occupies only the 18th line in the box office top.

In the box office chart of applications for Google Play, the caramel saga is only in 27th place.

Obviously, King will have to invest a lot of money to conduct a long-term advertising campaign. Puzzle&Dragons took several months on TV to seriously increase the number of users.
