The developer of Candy Crush Saga has started negotiations with Activision and Blizzard. He wants to consider the possibility of the appearance and distribution of mobile titles based on their IP within his own extensive user base.
This was announced by King CEO Riccardo Zacconi during the publication of the report for the first financial quarter of 2016 by Activision Blizzard.
He also said that his company may return to the introduction of advertising in its projects (in 2013, King refused advertising). Recently, King has started experimenting with advertising in two of its titles.
Since February last year, King has been one of five independently functioning divisions of Activision Blizzard. The other four are: Activision, Blizzard, Major League Gaming (esports organization) and Activision Blizzard Studios (film studio).
