83% of workers in the USA are mobile players. Of these, more than half spend their work breaks not on coffee, but on their favorite game.

This was announced by the publisher King according to the results of a custom survey from Kelton Global. The company interviewed 2,000 full-time Americans working during the pandemic.

It turned out that:

  • 83% of respondents play mobile games;
  • 55% of them constantly play during work breaks. The same is done by 58% of employed Americans aged 18 to 24;
  • 65% of those who play at work prefer a mobile session to a cup of coffee;
  • 53% of US gaming workers have enough 10-20 minutes of play to rest during a break;
  • 42% perceive the game in the middle of the working day as an opportunity to devote time only to their needs.

From these figures, we can conclude that mobile games are a very popular way to reduce stress, especially during a pandemic. King separately noted, according to 76% of the surveyed users of Candy Crush Saga, this game improves performance.
