Arenas designed for virtual reality games will appear in the cinema halls of the Karo network. The first 7 VR halls will be launched in Moscow and the regions within six months.

This is reported by the Kommersant newspaper.

The game areas are rooms of 5 rooms equipped with surround sound. The player moves through them in a virtual reality helmet. The technical side of the attraction is provided by the Titan VR multimedia complex.

Similar gaming halls already exist in the united cinema network Cinemapark and Formula Cinema, which competes with Karo. Its VR systems are provided and maintained by VRTech.

According to VRTech representatives, there are about 40 halls with their system in Russia, and 20 more are planned to open in the near future.

90% of VR games for these halls are based on pictures from the current rental. The services of the attraction are used by 5% of cinema visitors.
